Eurowings now flying direct from Hamburg Airport to Gothenburg

Eurowings is now operating a direct flight from Hamburg to Gothenburg, Sweden's second largest city, a press release said Wednesday (June 8, 2022). The flight is available on Mondays. Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. 

 "We are delighted to have another Scandinavian highlight in Hamburg Airport's route network," said Gesa Zaremba, Head of Airline & Traffic Development at Hamburg Airport. Gothenburg, on the west coast of Sweden, has a population of around 580,000, and is an industrial hub not least because of its port.

Eurowings flying to seven new destinations from Hamburg Airport

Eurowings operates flights to 115 national and international destinations from Hamburg making it the largest flight operator in the city presently. The German airline focuses on popular southern European regions in Spain, Greece and Italy especially Naples, Stuttgart and Palma de Majorca, as well as Vienna. Apart from Gothenburg, Verona and Lisbon are among the new destinations in the summer flight schedule.
