Elbphilharmonie celebrating start of spring

Pop, jazz and world music are particularly prominent next month. British rock star Damon Albarn, for instance, will debut in the Grand Hall while the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra will give three concerts between March 10 and 12 conducted by Semyon Bychkov. A special jazz section entitled "Reflektor John Zorn" will feature 14 concerts and a film on four days and nights focusing on the New York-based artist. The British ensemble, Musical Rumpus, will perform the interactive chamber opera "Catch a Sea Star" for children aged one to three to music by Bach from March 25-28, 2022.
