14 April 2022
Website pools urban projects

The city has launched the new digital.hamburg.de website, which pools information on digitalisation projects and procedures and gives an overview of digital activities in Hamburg, the Senate Chancellery said. The website is maintained by the Office for IT and Digitization (ITD) in collaboration with Hamburg's authorities and municipal companies.

Website aligned with digital strategy

The website presents digitalisation projects in the categories urban life, mobility and energy, economy, working environments, security and legal affairs, knowledge and education, culture, sports and leisure as well as health and social affairs in line with Hamburg's digital strategy. The offer is supplemented by information and explanatory videos on Hamburg's role in nationwide digitization. "Digitization is unfolding its influence in almost all areas of life and society," said Christian Pfromm, Head of the Office for IT and Digitization. "That's exactly what we want to show at digital.hamburg.de and make people curious about the digitalisation in Hamburg."
